Elmer Dean Schultz, 89, of Washington, died Saturday, November 10, 2012, in Presbyterian Senior Care, North Franklin Township.
He was born August 5, 1923, in Claysville, a son of Peter and Violet Schultz.
Mr. Schultz was a graduate of Trinity High School in 1942, and was a World War II Army veteran.
He worked at Hazel Atlas for twenty-five years and retired from Drakenfield.
Mr. Schultz was a dedicated family man.
On June 30, 1946, he married Jean L. Schultz, who died April 23, 2004.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth (Claudia) Schultz, of Venetia; a daughter, Gloria Martin, of Amity; two grandchildren, David (Rita) Martin and Melissa McKenna; and two great grandchildren, Alaina and Mason McKenna.
Deceased are three brothers, Kenny, Warren and Pete Schultz; and two sisters, Mildred Schultz and Violet Bissett.
At the request of the deceased services will be private. Burial will be in Claysville Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
