Joseph Anthony "Joey O" Oliverio

Joseph Anthony “Joey O” Oliverio, 63, of Mims, FL, formerly of Washington, died on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, in his residence, following a 3-year illness. He was born on July 22, 1949, in Washington, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Ruth Mounts Oliverio. A graduate of Trinity High School, he also completed a year at a welding trade school. He had worked as a welder, and then later for the city of Mims, FL, as a maintenance worker. Christian by faith, he was a Harley enthusiast, having travelled across the United States on his motorcycle. His wife, Judy Pauline Baumgardner, died in 2009. Surviving are a brother, Richard “Rick” Oliverio, of Washington; a sister, Ruth Ann (George) Morrell, of Scenery Hill; 4 nephews, Nathan Oliverio, and George, Jeffery and Matthew Morrell; 7 great-nephews and great-nieces, George, Dylan, Kenzie, Makalia, Mackenna, Bell and Addison; an ex sister-in-law, Pamela and an uncle, Sam Oliverio. Deceased is a brother, Terry V. Oliverio. Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. Funeral services will be held at Noon, Friday, November 16th, in the funeral home. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Military rites will be accorded graveside by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175.
