Melvin H. Arthur, Jr.

Melvin Harold Arthur, Jr., 54, of Scenery Hill, died on Saturday, October 27, 2012, in his residence. He was born May 8, 1958, in Washington, a son of Henrietta Behanna Powell of Scenery Hill and the late Melvin Harold Arthur, Sr. Mr. Arthur worked in pipeline construction. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Danyelle (Rowland) Gravel of Rhode Island; a niece, Hailey Gravel; and a nephew, Devon Gravel. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, October 31st, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
