George "Greek" Gafric

George Patrick “Greek” Gafric, 63, of South Heights, Beaver County, died unexpectedly, Thursday, November 24, 2011, in the Washington Hospital. He was born September 10, 1948, in Canonsburg, a son of George and Agnes Blazic Gafric of Washington. Mr. Gafric was employed as an electrician at Pennsylvania Transformer for several years, and most recently, as an inspector for Moon Township. He enjoyed being with people in general, but especially his family and friends, and attending flea markets and auctions. Mr. Gafric was a member of L.O.O.M. 22. He was Catholic. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Alyssa (Jeremy) Rozik of Washington; and his former wife, Mary Ellen “Mimi” Flinn Gafric. A Blessing Service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 28th, followed by visitation for family and friends from 2:30 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G.
