Florence Emma Antill Fordyce, 82, of Eighty-Four, died on August 12, 2011, in her residence, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on April 22, 1929, in Washington, a daughter of James Adam and Florence Dora Beatty Fordyce.
Mrs. Fordyce had worked at Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care, as a dietary aid.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are 2 sons, Edward Antill, Jr., and Charles Antill, both of Washington; a daughter, Linda (Kenneth) Moninger, of Eighty-Four; a sister, Zella Weirich, of Georgia; 3 grandchildren, Regan, Lisa and Larry (Bud); 5 great grandchildren, Destin, Braden, Daypha, Zinnia and Shalee; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are 5 brothers, Howard, James, Paul, Curtis and Wilbert (Web); 2 sisters, Ruth Pratton and Betty Wingrove; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Lynn and Kaitlynn and 1 great grandchild, Lillyanna.
She will be remembered and missed by her loving family and also missed by her companion “pups”.
Friends will be received on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison, Washington, PA 15301, where services will immediately follow at 8 p.m.
Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
